My Story
I am an entrepreneur and the Communications and Social Media Manager at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, KY. Previously, I worked as a multiskilled journalist at both WHAS 11 in Louisville and WTVQ in Lexington, KY. My skills include editing, writing, videography, designing, and more.

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in journalism with concentrations in political science and history.

I enjoy uplifting my community, both in Louisville and my hometown of Chicago. My love for giving back runs deeps and is at the core of all I do.

A South Side native, I attended Morgan Park High School. I was the 2018-2019 president of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Illinois Chapter, and I am a member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
My hobbies are vast and I have a thirst for adventure!
